Mowgli was a boy who lived among wolves and was nowished by them. he
used to eat raw flesh and would walk on
four negs. he considred himself as a wolf . There is a surprising number of feral children that have been documented
by researchers all over the world. Most of them were infant when they were
snatched up by wild animals. This book is about feral children who were raised
by leopards, wolves & jackals etc. let us take an examples of a goat boy in
andes, peru in 1990. he was said to have been raised by goats for 8 years. he
is supposed to have survive by drinking their milk and eating berries. after
being found, the goat-boy was investigated by a team from kansas university.
The book is
very interesting to read as it contains small but true stories of feral
children. the author has used descriptive writing which is easy to understand.
maps & diagrams given in the book are equally helpful.
